1967 Ford "Jeep"

A little background...

Here's the vehicle shortly after we picked it up in Oklahoma.  That's a new take-off windshield from an M151A1 leaning against the bumper to replace the M151A2 windshield currently on the vehicle.

Technically. it's not a Jeep.  It's a MUTT - Military Universal Tactical Truck. But, to all those who served with these vehicles, they were known as Jeeps.

The vehicle is sandblasted to remove multiple coats of paint and body filler.

Sandblasting!

We had the house paint and multiple layers of paint sandblasted off the vehicle.  The sandblaster originally thought it would only be a couple of hours. It turned into an all-day affair!

Primed for paint!

Vehicle has received first coat of primer.  The steering wheel is covered with tape to protect from primer and paint over spray.
