1967 M35 Quad .50 Gun Truck
On display at the National U.S. Armed Forces Museum in Houston, Texas.
History Fanatics' "The Widow Maker" is a replica of the original truck which served in I Corps in Vietnam, supporting the Marines, US Army, and ARVN forces. Using original photographs provided by both the crew and by the Historian for the National Dusters, Searchlights, and Quads Association, the truck serves as a memorial to those men and their families who served in Vietnam.

Work is ongoing, and we are very slowly finding the parts and items needed for the restoration. Keep checking back - a new page will be added to keep track of the project.
1968 Kaiser M725 Ambulance
Work has recently started. A restoration page will be added to this site to keep track of the project.
Used by the U.S. Army in the 1960's and 1970's. Saw use in Vietnam by both U.S. and ARVN forces. M114's also served with the US Army in Germany.
This is a future project that we are thinking of adding to our Motor Pool.
History Fanatics was fortunate to acquire 2 M416 1/4 ton trailers. Both need quite a bit of restoration, including a new floor in one of the trailers!
We are currently in the process of acquiring a water tank trailer, i.e., water buffalo. It will be thoroughly cleaned and restored for use in our displays.
The picture shows what the water buffalo looks like. As soon as we get ours, the picture will change.
Right now, we are looking for an equipment trailer to be used to transport various vehicles to shows. The search has narrowed to a few brands that have what we are looking for - Felling, Kentucky, and Rampant. Each have their good and not so good points.
Photos will be posted when we get our new trailers.
It has been decided that we need a dedicated truck to pull the vehicle / equipment trailer plus carry all the details for our displays on one vehicle. The search has narrowed to Peterbilt and Mack. Many makes and models have been considered, nut these two have the qualities we are looking for.
Photos will be posted when we get our new transport truck.
