In 2023, the M55 Quad .50 mount left us for Pennsylvania. No more Vietnam Quad .50 Gun Truck for History Fanatics. We do have some t-shirts available to keep the memories.
Once our Quad .50 left, the truck got a bit lonely. And, due to some health problems, our main driver (also the main driving force in the organization) has been unable to both maintain and drive the truck. The truck was sold to a rather pleasant gentleman who lives in central Texas, and plans to keep it fully restored to preserve history. We wish him well.
We were fortunate to acquire a 1942 Dodge WC-51 3/4 ton Weapon Carrier. Restoration had started on it when we acquired it. It's the one in the middle in the photo.
Restoration is beginning again on our 1967 Ford M151A1 MUTT. We hope to have it out and about this year. That's it to the right after being washed. Parts are scattered around as inventory is taken. The truck in the background is an M920 Medium Equipment Transport Truck - it is not owned by History Fanatics.
