In keeping with what we do, we are currently looking for a suitable 1930's vintage automobile in which to use in our living history displays.
Used to provide potable water to both military and civilian population.
The picture shows what the water buffalo looks like. As soon as we get ours, the picture will change.
We have located two suitable trucks - both require extensive restoration.
Two trailers also have been found. One requires new tires and wood. The other is in unknown (at present) condition, but assumed to be pretty much the same.
As for the Caterpillar D7 bulldozers, a couple in the age range have been located. These require extensive restoration plus the correct modifications to transform them to the Rome Plows of Vietnam.
We lack time and money.
Right now, we are looking for several enclosed trailers we can use to transport vintage vehicles to different shows. We are also seeking to acquire one to two lowboy equipment trailers to transport our non-standard sized vehicles plus other equipment. In addition, we are seeking to acquire at least one van trailer to transport artifacts, mannequins, and displays to different events.
Beside having a larger truck for the larger exhibit items, we are looking to build a smaller truck which can carry a vehicle inside plus have room for display items.
